Alyne’s Obituary Graveside services for Mrs. Alyne Katherine Deets, age 100, of Bonham, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Alyne passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Broadmoor Medical Lodge in Rockwall, Texas. Alyne was born August 5, 1919 in Bonham, Texas, the 6th child to John Franklin Burns and Annie Bell Shipley Burns. She married Frelan S. “Red” Deets on May 18, 1938 in Fannin County, and they had five children. Alyne retired from the Bonham Independent School District in May of 1993 after 23 years of service. She enjoyed quilting and adventures with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband “Red” and children; George Frelan (Neg) Deets, Frances Deets Ford, James H. (Bo) Deets, John M. (Butch) Deets and Calvin Ray Deets; sisters; Jewel Gibson, Opal Ford, Billie Mae Prock, Johnnie Kirby Berryhill, Betty Moore; brothers; J.C. Burns, W. H. “Buck” Burns, Richard Burns, Robert Burns and James Burns. She is survived by her granddaughters, Kathy Ford Luttrell and husband Mickey of Rockwall, TX, Kim Deets Saenz and husband Steve of Greenville, TX, Kendra Deets McCraw and husband Bryan of Telephone, TX; great grandchildren, Mickey Luttrell Jr. and wife Christina of Rowlett, TX, Jimmy Luttrell of Rockwall, TX, Jordan and Emily Saenz of Greenville, TX, Coleman, Clayton, and Allyson McCraw of Telephone, TX; great great grandsons, Mason and Caleb Luttrell of Rowlett, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
