Alvin ” Jay ” Litchford March 03, 1981 – October 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Alvin Eugene “Jay” Litchford (March 3, 1938 – October 23, 2019) Mr. Alvin “Jay” Litchford, 81, a resident of Troy, died Wednesday morning, October 23, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospita,l Union City. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Mt. Ararat Cemetery at 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2019, with Rev. Charles Southerland officiating Pallbearers will be family. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 am until the hour of service Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home, Troy. Mr. Litchford was born on March 3, 1938, in Troy, TN, son of the late Henry and Eula Litchford. He married the former Gloria Bush September 21, 1965. She preceded him in death November 11, 2014. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a retired carpenter. Mr. Litchford is survived by a daughter, Yvonne (Bill) Eaves of Troy; three sons, Aaron (Meshelle) Litchford of Hornbeak, Calvin Litchford of Troy and Joey (Gail) Litchford of Dyersburg; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by her one sister, and three brothers.
