Alfred’s Obituary Alfred Siler, 83, of Pruden, Tennessee passed away peacefully Saturday, October 19, 2019. Alfred was a loving, soft-spoken man who served in the United States Army. He was artistic and loved to whittle. He enjoyed the outdoors and particularly loved watching birds. Alfred had a strong faith and love for Christ. He loved and adored his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Pruden Baptist Church. He was a Mason of 50 years and retired from Claiborne County Highway Department. Alfred was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Alfred is preceded in death by his parents, Duff and Othella Siler. His siblings Bill Taylor and Henry Taylor and his son Staff Sergeant Alfred Barton Siler. He is survived by his loving daughter, Shomi Dree Siler. His son, Jason Neal Siler and girlfriend, Sunny Russell (who was very loving and carrying to Alfred) and daughter-in-law Jenny Siler. Grandchildren, Mikkah Mackenzie Ann Siler, Ally Ray Barton Siler, and Ryler Sloan Siler. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 12 noon until 2:00pm at the Pruden Baptist Church with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm. Graveside services will immediately follow in the Marlow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pruden Baptist Church P.O. Box 4, Clairfield, Tennessee 37715.
