A lifetime resident of this Spring City, he was a member of Spring City Baptist Church. Junior loved the outdoors he enjoyed fishing, canoeing, hunting for arrowheads and panning for gold. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elsie Mae Crabtree Smith Sr. and his sister Patricia Waldo. Survivors include his wife Nancy Moore Smith of Spring City, brothers David (Margaret) Smith of Spring City, James Smith of Spring City, sisters Wanda Moore of Spring City, Linda (Kenneth) Reed of Spring City, Peggy (Jose) Sanchez of Immokalee, FL, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the family residence with Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vaughn Funeral Home PO Box 129, Spring City TN, 37381 to defray funeral expenses Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
