William M. “Danny” Zumwalt, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019, at his home. He was born on July 21, 1953, in Jefferson City; a son of the late Lee and Gladys (Finley) Zumwalt. Danny was born with many challenges but he never let that stop him from living a full life. He lived on his own and enjoyed mowing his lawn, cooking, and his great passion was operating his CB radio. His handle was the “Rhinestone Cowboy”. He was greatly loved by his family and his passing will leave a great void in their family. He is survived by his siblings: Mary J. Thompson of Jefferson City, Carolyn Smith, Lincoln, Maine and Karin Thrasher (Donnie), Sebridge, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and brother: Lee Edward Zumwalt Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
