William “Buck” S. Diehl, 96, of 45 Cooper Mill Rd., Mifflinburg, for the past 50 years, entered into rest at 5:38 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont. He was born February 27, 1923, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late Guy W. and Pearl E. (Spotts) Diehl. Buck served in the Air Force from 1942, until his honorable discharge in 1944. He enjoyed golfing and traveling to Florida and Arizona. Surviving are his companion, Edith Dietrich; and one niece, Ann Escow. Buck was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Dickey. Burial will be held privately at Mifflinburg Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
