William “Bill” Crum, age 67 of Blountville formerly of Newport, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at Bristol Regional Hospital in Bristol, TN. He was Veteran serving in the Marines. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He had retired from Jefferson Cocke Gas Utility District in June 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Maggie Crum; brother Teddy Crum; brother-in-law Bobbie Lee Bradshaw; and niece Delana Adams. He is survived by his wife Brenda Ann Crum of Blountville, TN; brothers Thomas (Helen) Crumb of Clarksville and Robert “Bob” (Janie) Crum of Newport; sisters Dottie Wines (Woodrow) of Carson Springs, Delois (Raymond) Adams of Newport, Benna Kay Bradshaw of Newport, and Janice (Jimmy) Daniels of Bogard; god daughters McKalyne Griffin and Jacey Nichols; special niece and nephew Russ and Holly Mantooth of Blountville; and other nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the Shady Grove Cemetery with Jackie Swanger officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Manes Funeral Home.
