Troy’s Obituary Troy M. Hughes, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mr. Hughes was retired from Chrysler and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and attended Whitesburg Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth Beard Hughes; daughter, Vickie Vanderford (Perry); three grandchildren, Kris, Sarah, and John Paul; one great-grandchild, Vanessa; brother, James Hughes (Jan); and two sisters, Sara Mitchell and Linda Wetherington. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki officiating followed by burial at Taylor Cemetery. Read More
