Timothy John Mavrogeorge, 31, lost his struggle with PTSD and addiction on September 18th at his home in Naples, Florida. He was born May 1, 1988 in Antrim, New Hampshire, the son of John H. Mavrogeorge and Audrey S. Bedard. Timothy was a combat veteran, having served in Iraq in 2007 as a Cavalry Scout with the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment. He came from an extensive family lineage of military veterans who have served the United States, in every branch of the military, in every major conflict, since World War II. Timothy was proud of his military service and believed the greatest honor was to serve in battle, which he did honorably. He was an avid outdoorsman, a welder and had a passion for taking care of animals. Timothy is survived by his parents, 5 remaining siblings, nieces, nephews, grandparents and numerous first cousins, aunts and uncles, who will all miss his bold personality and humor. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr., Bonita Springs, FL.
