Therese’s Obituary AVA – Therese R. Baird, 69, of Ava, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 in Pinckneyville. Therese was born in Sparta, Illinois, on November 17, 1949, the daughter of Samuel Adams, Sr. and Marie Elizabeth Foertsch Morrow. She married Joe Baird on June 13, 1970 in Ava. Therese was an avid Cardinals fan. She loved to ride motorcycles and go camping. Therese loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Therese is survived by her husband, Joe Baird of Ava; children, Mike (Wendy) Morrow of Belleville, Tammy (Al) Rednour of Ava, Bobbie (Josh) Franklin of Ava, and Barbara (Joe) Vancil of Campbell Hill; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Midge Dobyns of Ava, Charles “Lonnie” Morrow (close friend, Alice) of Christopher, IL, Laura (Bill) Baird of Caseyville, IL; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Therese was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dennis L. “Denny” Morrow, and Samuel A. “Sonny” Morrow, Jr.; sister, Ilene M. Morrow; two infant sisters; three brothers-in-law, Earl Baird, Harlen Howie, and Don “PeeWee” Dobyns; three nephews; three nieces; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rudy Carl and Betty Jane Siebert. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Ava. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
