Tammie Dianne (Sanders) Finger August 04, 1959 – September 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Tammie Dianne (Sanders) Finger, 60, of McAlester, passed this life peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The family will receive friends and visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 20 at Bishop Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at First United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. J.T. Carnell. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory of McAlester. Tammie, the youngest of five siblings, was born to James and Rosa Lee Sanders in San Diego, California on August 4, 1959. Tammie loved to sing, and grew into a beautiful, talented woman. She began singing at the age of three, belting out songs and performing for the family. She began vocal music lessons and developed an amazing voice, entering several pageants and winning many talent competitions. Tammie married Joe Finger on October 20, 1995 in McAlester. Tammie will be remembered for her beautiful voice, her sense of humor, and love of family and friends. She was selfless, always putting others above herself. Tammie’s sweet and loving nature will remain with us, reflected through her daughter, Mary, whom she loved dearly. Her family and many friends will miss her, as everyone loved her. Tammie is survived by her husband: Joe Finger of the home; daughter: Mary Finger of McAlester; sisters: Sandy Raburn of Madill, Deena Morton of Broken Arrow; and several nieces and nephews. Tammie was preceded in death by her parents: James and Rosa Lee Sanders, siblings: Jimmy Lee Sanders and Pamela Susan Sanders, and husband’s parents: Chris and Mary Finger.
