Tammey L. Sockey, 52, of Smithfield, WV died Sunday, September 1, 2019 while at Genesis New Martinsville. Tammey was born July 22, 1967 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Clark H. and Faye Ann (Tanner) Floyd. She had been a sales clerk for the former Smith’s Grocery and graduated from Valley High School Class of 1985. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clark Floyd, Jr. Surviving are five sons, Freddy (Crystal) Guthrie of Pine Grove, WV, Dayton Guthrie, Trenton Floyd, Joshua Floyd and Layden Floyd all of Smithfield, WV; daughter, Brittany Guthrie of Mannington, WV; brother, Clifford “Sonny” Swiger of Smithfield, WV; three sisters, Loretta Roberts of Pine Grove, WV, Lisa (Pete Davis) Watson of Folsom, WV and Roxanne (John) McGee of New Martinsville, WV; three grandchildren, Crislyn, Chezlie and Branson and several other family members. Friends received 3-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
