Steve’s Obituary Steve J. Visocsky, Jr., 94, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Homestead Assisted Living. Steve was born August 24, 1925 in Ralston, Nebraska the son of Steve J. Visocsky, Sr. and Edith B. VanFleet Visocsky. On March 14, 1948 Steve married Rosemary Trapp. Steve retired from Fort Leavenworth as an electrician after 20 years. During his lifetime he worked as a welder, electrician and a fixer of many things. He was a very giving person. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary of 66 years and their only child Joseph W. Visocsky. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters, Ella Marie Siderwicz, Louise T. Pickman, Rita Courtney, Robert L. , Edward F, David C., Leo J., George F., John P. and Ronald R. Viscocsky. He is survived by one brother, Dennis T. (Dorothy) Visocsky of Leavenworth, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. There will be a Rosary held at 5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Graveside will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2019 at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Ascend Hospice, 4550 West 109th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66207.
