Stephen’s Obituary The family and large network of friends of Stephen Martin were dealt a cruel blow on September 17th when our beloved brother, devoted husband, and friend succumbed to a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia at the age of 38 in Indianapolis. Stephen was a professional photobomber who doubled as a maintenance manager and was beloved by all who met him. Two words described Steve “fun” and “love”. Every action in Stephen’s life was in pursuit of either fun or love. Stephen’s love for music was only surpassed by his love for his wife, Kim, who all too often suffered from his pranks and photobombing antics. Stephen did not spend one moment of his life in pursuit of money, pride, anger or greed. Stephen was an incredible musician who loved his family, friends and dogs more than anything. Stephen lived a life that others aspire to emulate. If he spent a moment mad it was only one and can’t find a soul that remembers it. If you didn’t get a chance to meet Stephen your loss is even greater than ours. Stephen wasn’t a saint, he was the dude that lived the traits that are preached about. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, brother Kevin, all his grandparents, and nephew Tate. Stephen is survived by his wife Kimbo, mother Denise, brothers Corey, Roger, Zach, Gregg, sister Angie, stepfather Steve, Ninja and Hooch and more friends than can be printed on paper, but Dave and Glenn suffered enough they merit mention. Memorial services will be held at Conkle Funeral home on September 21st, 2019 in Speedway Indiana. Showing hours are from 2 p.m. until 5 pm with a service to follow. Attire Casual!!! No Suits Donations in honor of Stephen’s life well-lived should be made to: Venmo @OurFriendSteve or Gofundme bit.ly/2m3zNFm. “It was all night pouring, pouring rain, but not a drop on me” -Grateful Dead! “Hey bear” Stephen…sorry inside joke!
