Bluefield, WV- Shelby Gean Musick, 81, of Bluefield, WV, died Tuesday September 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Born October 9, 1937 in War Eagle, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Daniels and Ruby Wiess Daniels. Mrs. Musick was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, but most important to her was being with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Musick; and sisters, Gail Compton and Ann Cook. Survivors include her children, Ruby Lester and husband Hank, Michael Musick, II and wife Rhiannon, Robert “RJ” Musick and wife Susie, Jeffery Musick and wife Shelby, and Michael Musick, Sr. and fiancé, Brenda Leigh, all of Bluefield; brother, Kenneth James Daniels and wife Arleen of Athens, WV; grandchildren, Kadence and Malachi Musick, Joseph, Tyler, Camron, Fantasia and Derrick Musick, Angel Boswell, Brian Holbrook and wife Kayla, and Brandi Lambert and husband Josh; great grandchildren, Ashley and Emily Boswell, Hunter Hill, Noah and Carolyn Lambert, Landon and Gavin Holbrook, and Angelina and Abby Lockhart; and her beloved companion and dog, Toto. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
