Sandra’s Obituary CONGDON, Sandra Jane – of Burton, age 81, passed away September 26, 2019 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Chaplain Adam Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will take place 3-8 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 and 10:30 AM Tuesday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute in Sandra’s name. Sandra was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 10, 1938, daughter of the late Carl and Martha (Black) Purcell. She married Robert D. Congdon August 2, 1957 and he preceded her in death February 21, 2015. Sandra retired from MIC Insurance Company. She loved her dog, car shows, racing and her ’63 Impala Super Sport. Sandra is survived by her sons, Danny (Liza) Congdon and Robert (Lisa) Congdon; grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) Congdon, Chad (Kristina) Congdon and Garrett (Jessica) Csirke; great-grandchildren, Blake, Trevor, Gage, Kaylin and Hannah; brother, John (Marilyn) Bloom and family of Osgood, IN; special friends, Tommy and Polly Butler; sisters-in-law, Jane and Darlene; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Neil and Lucille Starr.
