Rudy’s Obituary HAMRIC, Rudy D. – of Flint, age 73, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Military Honors will be held 6 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019, followed by Family Time of Sharing, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the time of Honors on Wednesday. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Rudy was born in Cherry Valley, AR on March 17, 1946, son of the late Elton Lee Delmar and Lois (Chase) Hamric. Rudy resided in Flint all of his life. After proudly serving in the U.S. Army, Rudy went on to retire from GM in 1995 after 30 years of service. Rudy began his family starting in 1963, when he welcomed daughters, Deborah, Tammy and Shellie. Then came daughters, Candace, Holly and their sister, Rosanna and last, a son, Rudy and his brother, Steven. Rudy is survived by his sister, Peggy Korcyiak; all his children; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one nephew; one niece; many friends; beloved dog, Peggy.
