Roland Franks was born September 26, 1932, he passed away September 7, 2019. Roland is survived by his wife of 15 years, Mary Shinkle-Franks and her children, Brenda, Steve, Jerry; his children, Mario Franks of MI, Margret Franks of AL, Sherry Franks-Buikema husband, Brian of MI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Jean and husband Julius of MI. Roland was a mechanic at George’s Foreign Car Service. He served in the Armed Forces and was a member of the American Legion Post 154. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Cutlerville 1st Christian Reformed Church, 1425 68th St. SW, Byron Center. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions in Roland’s memory may be made to Kindred Hospice.
