Roger Dale Lawson August 02, 1953 – September 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Roger Dale Lawson, age 66, of Joelton, a beloved son, husband, father, and “Grumps”, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Lawson. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Janice Lawson; daughters Jennifer (T.J.) Mayo and Erica (Kenneth) Dixon; grandsons Justin, Landon, and Evan Mayo and Nathan and Nolan Dixon; father Jimmy Lawson; sister Pat (Harvey) Doyle; sister-in-law Debbie Chadwell; and numerous relatives and countless friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kirk Barnes and the staff at Tennessee Oncology for many years of support and care. Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Sunday, September 29th from 12 P.M. until 7 P.M. and again on Monday, September 30th from 9 A.M. until the hour of Service at 11 A.M. with Dr. Diana M. DeWitt and Rev. Margaret Platts officiating. Interment follows at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
