Rodney’s Obituary Rodney J. Mouse, 45, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his residence in Colcord, OK. He was born on January 30, 1974 in Jay, OK to his parents, J.C. Mouse and Zella Black-Mouse. Rodney loved to go fishing, swimming, hunting for crawdads, he loved anything that had to do being on or close to water or being outside,he loved to cook for his family, He was an avid Oklahoma Sooners Fan and a jack of all trades. Rodney had strong faith in the Lord and was baptized at Round Springs Baptist Church of Eucha by Brother Richard (Duke) Pickup. His family will miss him dearly, his love and memories will never be forgotten. Rodney is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie and Annie Black, George and Bessie Mouse; sister, Rhonda Childress; niece, Roni (Cornbread) Mouse; 2 brothers-in-law, Baboo Childress and Shane Haggard. He is survived by his children’s mothers, Denise Mouse of Jay, OK and Tamara Logan of Colcord, OK; 8 children, Kaleb, Zoe’, Madison, Shaylynn, Emma, Jayden, Jasper, Braxton and Brandon; 1 granddaughter, Kieanna; parents, J.C. and Zella Mouse of Colcord, OK; 4 siblings, Shelby Haggard of Eucha, OK, Becky Nipps and husband Billy of Kansas, OK, Kelly Fitts and husband Kevin of Westville, OK, Jason Williamson and wife Machelle of Maysville, AR; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Rodney’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Rodney’s Celebration Of Life and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:00pm, Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Chapel, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346.
