Robert W. Schill, 90, of Columbia, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Lenoir Health Care Center. Bob was the youngest son born to Dewey and Mae Schill of St. Louis, Missouri. He was a graduate of Normandy High School where his father was a teacher. Bob was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the artillery division of the US Army. After discharge, he worked at Wagner Electric for 20 years. He was a small business owner with his wife and operated a window coverings manufacturer and distributorship in the St. Louis area. Bob is predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Mary Ann Schill. Both his twin brother, Richard T. Schill, and his older sister, Jean R. Schmitt, predeceased him. Bob is survived by his oldest son, Robert W. Schill, Jr., and his wife Sue of San Jose, CA; his second son, Thomas R. Schill and his wife Sheila of Jefferson City, MO; and his third son, James W. Schill and his wife, Debbie of O’Fallon, MO. Bob’s grandchildren include Danny Schill and his wife Lizzy of Atlanta, GA; Brad Schill of Jefferson City, MO; Lisa Schill of Portland, OR; and Sabrina Schill of San Jose, CA.
