Bob was born in Harrisburg and was the son of Gladys Wills and the late Chester Dietz Sr. He was raised by his mother and step-father, the late Henry Wills. He was employed at Chemtainer of Grantville, where he was a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of the Robert H. Hoke American Legion Post 272. Bob is survived by, in addition to his mother, his wife of 35 years, Stacey Barr Dietz; his daughter, Rebecca (Chris Barnes) Dietz; his sons, Robert L. (Sara) Dietz, Jr. and Jonathan (Jessica) Dietz, Sr.; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Remington, Addison and Christopher; his brothers, Chet (Ronda) Dietz and Shawn (Judy) Wills; his sisters, Marcia Brickner and Donna Irvin; his brothers, Tom Dietz and Ronnie Graves; several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg.
