Robert “Bob” E. Roberts, Sr., 83, of New Martinsville, WV passed peacefully from this world on Sunday, September 15, 2019 while at Wetzel County Hospital. Bob was born May 13, 1936 in Dixon, IL; son of the late Charles and Madge Roberts. He was a retired rod room worker for the former Ormet Corp, a U.S. Marine Corps and member of the Lighthouse Community Church. Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Linda (Burlingame) Roberts; two sons, Mark (Debbie) Roberts of New Martinsville, WV and Robert E. (Cynthia) Roberts, Jr. of St. Cloud, FL; daughter, Alphretta L. Roberts of Alaska; two grandchildren, Ashely (Tad) Greene of New Martinsville, WV and “Mac” Roberts of Los Angeles, CA and three great grandchildren, Grace, Libby and Ellie. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV with Mike Shank officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes. Honor Guard will conduct graveside services.
