Obituary of Richard Eugene Shearer Richard E. Shearer, 64, of Calhoun, Missouri passed away early Wednesday morning, September 4, 2019 at the Westwood Living Center. He was born June 11, 1955 in Independence, MO, the son of Wilbur Eugene Shearer and Patricia Ann Vaughn. He met Joan Rasmussen on April 6, 1996 and have been together since. Richard was a painter all around the Truman Lake area. In addition to Joan, surviving are four sons, Kevin Shearer, Robert Shearer, Wyatt Shearer and Cassidy Burson; four daughters, Annie Shearer, Audrey Shearer, Bobbie Phillips and Stacy Dowdy; several grandchildren; five brothers, Terry Shearer, Steve Shearer, Kevin Shearer, Josh Shearer and Joe Shearer; four sisters, Ginny Shearer, Patti Jean Moran, Paula Barker and Pam Shearer; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded I death by his parents and one brother, Rob Shearer. As per Richard’s wishes his body will be cremated under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.
