Ray Anthony Allen was born in Tallapoosa County Alabama on June 26, 1954 to the late Mrs. Martha L. Allen Spivey and His father, Mr. Ocie Martin Russell. He was raised by his step-father the late Mr. Willie J. Spivey, Sr. He was united with the Early Rose Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully until his health failed. Ray was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mrs. Princetta Shealey Allen. Mr. Allen departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Martha L Spivey; father, Mr. Ocie Martin Russell; step-father, Mr. Willie J. Spivey. Sister, Misha A. Boston, Wife, Mrs. Princetta Shealey Allen. He leaves to cherish fictional children: Lil Ray Ray (Nem) (LOL). Seven sisters: Martha Ellen Allen, Charlotte Louise Allen both of Alexander City, AL; Prlscilla Ann Ward (Nathaniel); of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Patricia Ann Buchanan (Benjamin) of Alexander City, Alabama; Belinda Joyce Cook of Daleville, Alabama; Catrina Denise Rowe (Sam) and Regina Yvonne Spivey both of Alexander City, Alabama. Seven brothers: Donald Lee Spivey, Ronald Lee Spivey, Willie James Spivey, Jr.; Kenneth Dewayne Spivey, Darryl Spivey (Diana), Derick Demond Spivey (Sherry) all of Alexander City, Alabama and Calvin O’Neal Spivey (Vicky) of Madison, Alabama.
