It is with heavy hearts the family of Peter J. LaBare, 54, announces his passing on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, Burlington, VT surrounded by his family. Born on Sept. 30, 1964 in Malone, NY, he was the son of Dale and Barbara (Mills) LaBare. Peter graduated from Chateaugay Central School. He was employed as a corrections officer for Franklin Correctional Facility . He was also employed by McCadam Cheese until his retirement due to ill health. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garrett and Katelynn LaBare of Chateaugay; a granddaughter, Amelia and Baby LaBare on the way; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Kathy LaBare of Burke, Craig and Lynn LaBare of Burke; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Darrell Boadway of Kentucky, Amy and Toby LeClair of Chateaugay, Stacy and Steve McDonald of Chateaugay; special loving cousins, Susie, Robin and Jackie; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Dale and brother, Michael. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mr. Peter J.
