Paulette Bodiford Guest was born February 9, 1947 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Edward Paul and Dorothy Louise Hines Bodiford. She was united in marriage to James Cletis Guest on July 25, 1964. Mrs. Guest retired from Regions Bank in Selmer and was a long-time book keeper at McNairy Central High School. She was a member of the Fourth Street Church Of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her husband and family. She supported her grandchildren in their endeavors. Mrs. Guest departed this life on September 16, 2019 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 72 Years, 7 Months, 7 Days. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Cletis Guest of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Vicki Allen and husband Shane, Mitzi Wickberg and husband Michael, Robin Phillips and husband Jeff; a sister, Sandra (Bodiford) Burcham and husband Robert; a brother, Ricky Bodiford and wife Andrea; eight grandchildren, Lauren Smith and husband Danny, Clay Maness and wife Sophia, Mary Jane Dickey, Abby Dickey, Katie Allen, Jack Phillips, Amelia Phillips, Ava Phillips; step grandson, Riley Wickberg; six great grandchildren, Odin and Raylan Smith, Landon and Guliana Smith, Grey and Ruby Maness; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Guest was preceded in death by three brothers, James Larry, Robbie, and Eldon Bodiford; son-in-law, Jay Dickey. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association or Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
