He was born in Marlette to Frank and Gwen Gassel. He graduated from Brown City High School Class of 1988. Paul was self-employed and offered his cleaning and repair services throughout the area. He liked collecting antiques and spending time with family. He is survived by his mother Gwen Gassel and a sister Terri (Jim) Taylor and a niece Rachael Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Gassel. A memorial service will be held on September 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Omard United Methodist Church.
