Patricia Jean Hare, 84, of Clinton, Maryland, passed away on September 26, 2019 at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Virginia. Born on June 29, 1935 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Emma Schuyler Davidson and Harold Pearson Davidson. Mrs. Hare was a school bus driver for Prince George’s County in Maryland and for Stafford County in Virginia. She had a unique artistic gift when it came to arts and crafts; she could do most anything, adding her own special flair. She was an active member of Providence Fort Washington United Methodist Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir and participated in Vacation Bible School for seven years. She also participated in Bible Studies. In additional to her parents, Mrs. Hare was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Susan DeMarr and brother, Paul Davidson. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Michael Paul Hare; children Barbara Jean Polikoff and her husband Adam, Nancy Alice Taylor and Charles Arthur Smith II; siblings Joanne Johnson and Sue Todd; grandchildren Sandy Jean Fullerton, Christina Paulin-Resendez, Dallas Jason DeMarr, Charles A. Smith III, Brianna Catherine Smith; great grandchildren Skyler, Lilli, Rex, Tessa, Aidan and Itzel; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 2PM to 6PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Funeral Service 1 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Providence Fort Washington United Methodist Church, 10610 Old Fort Road, Fort Washington, Maryland 20744. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
