Patricia passed away Thursday evening, September 19, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born March 23, 1945 in Minneapolis Minnesota, the daughter of the late Emery and Ruth(O’Brien) Germaine. She was a 1963 graduate of Lawton High School, where she continued to serve her community in various roles including Girl Scout Leader, Miss Lawton Pageant Coordinator and Athletic Booster. She enjoyed baking, sewing for her grandchildren and decorating for the holidays. On August 30, 1963, in Paw Paw, Patricia was united in marriage to David Lowell Lanphear who preceded her in death, Also preceding her in death, is her grandson, Matthew Buskirk of Paw Paw. Surviving are four children, Deborah (Mark) Buskirk of Paw Paw, Christopher (Elizabeth) Lanphear of Fennville, Anthony (Laurie Hyatt) Lanphear of Paw Paw, Kathryn (Timothy) Bell of South Bend, IN, 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her brother Terry Germaine of California and sister Susan Germaine of Paw Paw survive. She is preceded in death by siblings Lois Peter, Myrna Jones, Merlin Germaine and Daniel (Crock) Germaine. Family will receive friends Tuesday (9/24) from 10-11am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with a mass of Christian burial directly following at 11:00 am with Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Interment will be at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
