Patricia Ann Farris , 70, of Independence, MO, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. She was born on February 15, 1949 in Independence, MO, the daughter of John Henry Morris and Alice JoAnn Cates. Patricia worked as an Activities Director at a long term care facility for many years. She loved animals very much, and loved going to the Kansas City Zoo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Homer “Bud “ Farris and two brothers, Steven Morris and John Morris. Survivors include, two sons; one daughter; One sister, Carolyn Barker of Independence, MO; a very special grand-daughter in her Mi Mi’s life, Taylor Farris; many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at the Campbell – Cast Funeral Home in Holden, MO from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Cremation has been requested following the Visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Luke’s Hospice House. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.
