Patricia Ann DeCuir Patricia ‘Pat’ DeCuir passed away on September 22 at the age of 84. Born Patricia Scidmore, in Tacoma Washington, she is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She spent most of her life living in New Orleans raising a family. In addition to raising her children Chuck, Karen, Karl and Andy, she took great joy in serving as “second Mom” to her children’s friends and kids from the YMCA where she worked. She is survived by her four children, 3 daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, 3 granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to or your local veterans organization, Arthritis Foundation, or favorite charity. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2612 W. State St. in Boise. A committal service with military honors will follow at 1:00 pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd. in Boise. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
