Patricia Ann Burghart January 10, 1943 – September 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Patricia Ann Burghart, 76, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Ralph, Sr,. and Margaret M. (Puhl) Appelhanz. On June 17, 1961, Patricia married Robert J. Burghart at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Together, they shared 57 years of marriage before Robert’s passing on September 4, 2018. Patricia was a member of the St. Joseph/Sacred Heart Parish. She loved to play bingo and spoiling her dogs. Above all, she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren while supporting all their activities. She will be dearly missed. Survivors include her two sons, Mike Burghart and his wife Jafawn of Tecumseh, Scott Burghart and his wife Kelly of Tecumseh; four daughters, Barbara Voegeli and her husband George of Tecumseh, Pattie Burris and her husband Mike of Topeka, Tracy Anguiano and her husband JR of Topeka, Mandy Burghart and her wife Melissa of Auburn; 24 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Burghart; great-granddaughter,Hazel Kientz and 3 sisters. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery-Topeka. Services are pending for October and will be announced once the service day and time is confirmed. Memorial contributions can be made in Patricia’s loving memory to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Restoration Project. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
