Ofelia Torres (Cookie) passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 in Robert Lee, TX. Ofelia was born on March 3, 1956 in Bronte, TX. Her parents were Louis Sr & Alice Minjarez. She married Alvino (Calvin) Torres on November 10, 1973. They raised two boys Billy Wayne Torres of Bronte, TX and Ruben Torres of Robert Lee, TX. Cookie was a very hard working, loving person. She was a cook for Robert Lee ISD for 35 years. Survivors include her son Billy Wayne Torres and wife Stephanie Torres of Bronte, TX; other son Ruben Torres and wife Moriah of Robert Lee, TX; 7 Grandchildren Elexis, A’Chyanna, Brylee, Zaylie, Layton, Lilly, & Oakley; Sister Elvia Casares of Bronte, TX ; Sister Lidia & Jimmy Soto of Bronte, TX, Brother Jr. & Dorthy Minjarez of Bronte, TX. Also survived by family, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Calvin Torres, daughter Delphene Torres, and parents Louis & Alice Minjarez. Visitation will be held all day on Thursday, August 29, 2019 with rosary to follow at 7 pm at the funeral home. Mass will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 30, 2019 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church with internment to follow in Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery.
