Michael D. Mortiboy age 60, of Flat Rock, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Detroit Receiving in Detroit, Michigan. Born on June 10, 1959 in Monroe, Michigan, he was the son of Philip and Dorothy (Bruckner) Mortiboy. He was employed with K-Mart as a Mechanic until retiring in 2002. Michael was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Monroe. He enjoyed discussing politics, working on his car, shooting long guns and pistols and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Dean Mortiboy. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy E. Mortiboy of Flat Rock and sister, Diane Michelle Pfeiffer of Flat Rock. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe. Cremation has taken place. No services at this time.
