Melvin Caldwell, 61, of 531 Cooper’s Ridge Drive, Kannapolis, NC, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Concord, North Carolina. He was born March 9, 1958 in Cabarrus County to the late Grover Bossey Caldwell and the late Mary Alice Harris Caldwell. Melvin grew up in the Shankletown, Sidestown and Rock Hill communities where he was always surrounded by family, neighbors and friends. He attended public school in Cabarrus County, Service arrangements are pending. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Marie Caldwell and brother, Kelvin J. Caldwell. Those left to cherish fond memories include: Daughter, Tamika Bostick, grandchildren, Mekiyah, Dennoire, Dennijae, Jonathan, Jayce and Zoey; nephew, William Caldwell; great-nephew, Brycen Fisher; an aunt, Estelle Caldwell; uncle, Vernon Pharr. Numerous cousins and friends; Julie S. Gray, a very special lady in Melvin’s life will miss him immensely. Clark Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the Caldwell Family.
