Mayra’s Obituary Mayra Julia Lopez of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township, passed away on Monday, September 2nd, 2019 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 64 years old. Born in Cuba, she resided in Iselin for the past 24 years. Mrs. Lopez was employed as a Material Specialist with United Airlines for 30 years, retiring in 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Jesus and Dora Fernandez Perez. She is survived by her husband, Luis Lopez; daughter, Sandra Martin, of Colonia, NJ; sons, Anthony Lopez of Landing, NJ, Eric Lopez of South River, NJ and William Lopez of Plainsboro, NJ; brother, Jesus Perez, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church, Colonia. Entombment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Read More
