Maurice Albert Pinkham March 31, 1939 – August 31, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation NEWPORT – Maurice Pinkham, 80, died August 31, 2019 at a Belfast health care facility. He was born March 31, 1939 in Newport, a son of John and Isabella (Colby) Pinkham. He attended Newport schools and served in the Army Reserves and the National Guard at the former Newport Armory. He worked at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna for many years until the mill closed. He then worked with his father, ton of Newport cemeteries, and later became ton when his father died. Maurice is survived by 2 sisters, Esther Temple, Julia and husband, the Rev. Robert Herring, all of Dexter; 5 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Bernard, who died in a hunting accident, and 2 infant brothers. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 5th, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with the Rev. Robert Herring officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
