Obituary of Matthew Levi Romero A memorial service for Matthew Levi Romero, 32, of Rhome, Texas will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Wise County Fair Grounds in the North parking lot. All mud trucks, classic cars, and modified cars are welcome. Matthew passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Rhome. He was born April 27, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a machinist for Poco Graphite in Decatur, Texas for the past year. Before that he worked for eight years for Action Stainless Steel & Alloys in Carrollton, Texas. He loved being outdoors working on cars, grilling out for friends and family, shooting guns, riding four-wheelers, and just hanging out with the people he loved. Matthew is survived by his wife Savannah (Frentress) Romero of Rhome; children Levi, Tori, and Mila; parents John and Connie (Romero) Huckabee of Springtown, Texas; brothers Darren of Springtown, and Jerome of Colorado; sister Jordan of Nebraska; grandparents Jane and Levi Romero of Utah; uncle Gerald Huckabee of Boyd, Texas; and numerous other family.
