Matthew Trent Edwards, age 35, husband of Sara (Carter) Edwards of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Baptist Health Berea Hospital. He was the step-father of Jacob Stopher and Cora Beth Stopher both of London, Kentucky; the son of Timothy Lee and Susan Fay (Whitaker) Edwards of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the brother of Destany Edwards, Natalee Edwards, Aaron Edwards (twin brother) and Adam Edwards all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the grandson of Eliza Frances Edwards; the son-in-law of Adrian and Debra Eversole of London, Kentucky and John and Mindy Carter of Stamping Ground, Kentucky; the uncle of Alex Edwards and Ashley Edwards both of Pikeville, Kentucky and Peter Edwards and Ruby Edwards boht of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Edward and Mary Gay Whitaker and Posey Lee Edwards. Gathering of remembrance for Matthew Trent Edwards will be conducted Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Cooper officiating. The family of Matthew Trent Edwards will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
