Mary Anna Sumpter, age 96, of Fredericktown, MO; passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown, Missouri. She was born on July 21, 1923 in Diehlstadt, Missouri; daughter of Ben and Mabel Simmons Lynch. Survivors include her son Leonard Edward Gipson of Fredericktown, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, three brothers, and six sisters. Visitation will be at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, MO. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. with funeral service following at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel with Pastor Randy Shrum officiating.
