LYNN-Mr. Martin J. Manuel, age 69, died on Sunday morning at the Chestnut Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with heart disease. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late George and Gloria (Demars) Manuel. A bus driver with the MBTA for 25 years, Martin lived in Saugus for many years before moving to Lynn. He was an avid motorcyclist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his two daughters; Kristine Manuel and Leanne Manuel both of Lynn. Martin was the grandfather of Shanice, Aliyah, & Gianna. He was the brother of George Manuel of Lynn, Michael Manuel of Saugus, & Karen Hansen of Saugus. Mr. Manuel was the former husband of Jeaneene (Longo) Manuel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association @ heart.org. SERVICE INFORMATION Visiting hours will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Thursday 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Relatives & friends are invited to attend.
