Please accept my condolences and know that Mark’s memory will be honored and celebrated always. He was one of the kindest people in our whole huge high school. He was generous, wise beyond his years, steadfast, loyal, sweet and funny. He was extremely positive and wanted only the best for others. He was so unpretentious, natural and supportive. I could never have survived with self-esteem intact if it were not for the loving, sweet, unselfish attitude he had toward my art. Over the years, he quietly but determinedly insisted on excellence but not at the expense of joy. I found him courageous on every moral front. His dedication to his friends and love for his family and partner were ever present in his words and actions. He will be dearly missed. No one had a smile like Mark’s, it literally shone. He will never be forgotten.
