Maria’s Obituary Maria J. Pedulla, Josephine, age 90 transitioned on Friday, August 30th, 2019 in her Florida home. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, December 2nd, 1928 to Carmela and Mercurio Scala. Predeceased by her parents, and husband Vincent. Deep-rooted in family, Maria leaves behind her sister Frances Puglisi, daughter Pauline, sons Anthony and Michael, daughter-in-law, Janet, grandsons Vincent, Anthony and Nicholas. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews and lifelong family and friends. Josephine went on to become a hairdresser, together with her husband Vincent they built a thriving business in the beauty culture industry. Her passion for real estate afforded us to enjoy the comforts of her and Vincent’s labors and we are grateful. Her smile was her signature. She was the storyteller of the family a sage. In celebration of a life well lived, please join us for the Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, N.J. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 9:00am thence to St. Nicholas R.C. Church in Palisades Park, N.J. where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, N.J.
