Margie Bramlett, age 94, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. She was born on September 23, 1925, in Monette, Arkansas, to Bert and Hettie F. (Boatwright) Johnson. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Bramlett whom she married on July 31, 1948. Margie was a proud member of the Eastern Star for fifty-five years. She worked for Ozarks Electric Cooperative for more than forty years and retired at the age of eighty. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her German chocolate cake that could be found at each holiday gathering. Most of all, she was a fantastic wife, mother and grandmother and she thoroughly enjoyed her family. She is survived by her three sons, Tom Bramlett and wife Cheryl of Fayetteville, Tracy Bramlett and wife Dana of Lewisville, Texas, and Barry Bramlett and wife Tresea of Fayetteville; one daughter, Karen Koerner and husband Len of Springdale; six grandsons, Jason Bramlett and wife Meredith, Chad Bramlett and wife Melanie, Chase Bramlett and partner Dina Pellow, Michael Melcher and wife Xiao, Zach Koerner Melcher and Ryan Rhoades; six granddaughters, Ashley Schaefer and husband Thad, Jennifer Sanders and husband Tom, Adrienne Kvello and husband Eric, Cassie Linton and husband Daniel, Jane Keen and husband Justin and Masa Kidd; eight great-grandsons, Samuel Schaefer, Holden Schaefer, Noah Schaefer, Eli Linton, River Rhoades, Cypress Keen, Sawyer Keen and Gabriel Melcher; and eleven great-granddaughters, Reese Sanders, Berkley Sanders, Haven Kvello, Avery Kvello, Adelyn Bramlett, Quinn Bramlett, Tess Schaefer, Claire Bramlett, Arden Bramlett, Amelia Bramlett and June Keen. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00pm on Friday, October 4, 2019, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Private family committal.
