Margaret (Peggy) Jacobsen December 21, 1952 – September 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Margaret (Peggy) Jane Jacobsen was born December 21, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to parents James Patrick and Joan Mary (Walthouse) Lynn. Peggy met Jake in Chicago in 1982 and they married January 14, 1984; so, have been married for 35 years. She worked for many years as an Executive Assistant for a medical equipment manufacturing company and for the last 26 years, she was a homemaker. Peggy was very well known for the enormous heart she had for others. It was said that she was a bright light in a dark room and a second mother to so many. She “adopted people” and loved with her whole heart. Peggy made everyone feel as though they were hers. She cared deeply, if she saw a need; she filled it. Her life was filled with loving others in every area of her life. She will be greatly missed and left big footprints on many hearts. Peggy is survived by her loving husband Jake Jacobsen; daughter Beth Jacobsen; brother Jerry Lynn and his wife Kathy and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends for a visitation on September 18, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75023 with The Reverend Bruce Bradley officiating. There will be reception to follow the service. Peggy will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
