GRAFTON: Luke T. Magnant, 25, passed away suddenly September 7, 2019, a vibrant life filled with light and love that was made far too short from a difficult struggle with depression. He leaves his adoring parents, Christine M. (LeBlanc) and Thomas J. Magnant, his sister Danielle Bradshaw and her husband Tim and their children Jack and Mason, his brother Nick Magnant, his grandparents Rene and Marcia LeBlanc, his uncles and aunts Richard Magnant and his wife Charlene, Kathy Pardee, Dave Magnant and his wife Sue, Rob Magnant and his wife Gail, Wendy Atchue and her husband Milton, John Magnant and his spouse Jay, Sonja Fair and her husband Randall and Timothy LeBlanc, close cousins and friends along with dear friends Bria, Taylor, Elijah and Scott. He also leaves his beloved German Shepard “Princess Leia”. He was predeceased by his grandparents Fred and Janet Magnant. Luke was born July 21, 1994 in Worcester and he grew up in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School. He enrolled in the MA National Guard where he served with pride for several years and was recently promoted to Sergeant.. His life of service extended to his career as he spent time at Vital and Cataldo Ambulance Service in Cambridge before he joined the Acton Fire Department as a Paramedic where he had been for the past year. He also had been accepted to the Fire Service Academy and was slated to begin there in October. Away from work he was happiest when outdoors, often taking hikes with his dog. He always took care of himself, dedicating hours to his fitness at the gym. If you knew Luke and were in his circle you had a life-long and loyal friend who will be greatly missed. In lieu of traditional remembrances please honor Luke with a donation toward a cure for Epilepsy to The Epilepsy Foundation New England at www.Epilepsynewengland.org. All are welcome to gather with Luke’s family and friends Thursday September 12th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536.
