Luis’ Obituary Luis Avalos Salazar, Age 98, of Des Plaines, IL passed away at Lutheran General Hospital on September 29, 2019. He survived by his wife Gudelia. His children; Maria Gallardo, Jose Luis Salazar, Leboria Rodriguez, Gudelia Olgiun and Eduardo Salazar. 16 Grandchildren. His brother Felix Salazar and his sister Amparo Salazar. Visitation will be held at River Woods Funeral Chapels, 205 S River Road, Des Plaines, IL on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 3PM until 8PM. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 03, 2019 at 12:30PM at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1170 N River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Family and friends meet at the Shrine at 12 Noon.
