Linda Sue Long, age 69, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 8:00 P.M. on August 26, 2019 at Aperion Care Galesburg North. On December 16, 1949 in Rock Island, Illinois, Linda Sue was born to Warren D. and Betty J. (Sipes) Walton. She was reared and educated in the Rock Island area, later marrying Donny Long. Linda is survived by her two brothers: Greg Walton of Galesburg, and Duane Walton of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Larry Walton. She was a talented beautician in the Milan, Illinois area for many years, and later a dedicated homemaker. Dancing was a favorite pastime of Linda’s, and she also enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
