Lesley Mari Mayo Atkins, age 53, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2019. Lesley was born December 6, 1965 in North Richland Hills, Texas to Jerry and Mildred Mayo. She grew up in Midlothian and worked at Kerley and Sears for 31 years. Lesley loved reading, watching movies and spending time with family. Lesley Mari Atkins is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Atkins; son, James Earl Beaudoin; father, Jerry Mayo; and other loves ones. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Mayo; siblings, Edward Ruper, Paul Mayo and Pamela Baumgarten; step daughter, Deana Atkins; two step granddaughters, Courtney Atkins and Katelyn Whelchel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. To honor Lesley’s specific wishes, there will be no funeral, and she will be cremated. Lesley was a spitfire who garnered love and loyalty from those who knew her well. Hummingbirds held a special place in her heart. When you see a hummingbird, always remember the beautiful person she was. Also know that she is looking down on us from Heaven with a big bucket of popcorn enjoying our antics!
